Mardi Hedus

Dance & Drama Instructor

Mardi spent most of his childhood and early adult years in the United Kingdom. He starred in his first school production when he was 7 years old which ignited a love for performing on stage. At 11, he was accepted into the Plymouth Theatre Royal Young Company where he developed his talents in theatre acting and stage management. At 15 years old, he was chosen out of thousands to be a member of a touring band that performed around Europe and the UK.

He was also one of the youngest teachers at the famous Pineapple Performing Arts School and taught dance at Pineapple Studios in London. While at Pineapple, Mardi also assisted with the Met. Police program for juveniles where he taught young men who needed some guidance dance and drama once a week; some of whom have gone on to star in West End theatre productions and television shows. Some of his work credits include work done for the BBC, ITV, Nickelodeon and RTB.

Since moving back to Brunei, Mardi has devoted his time, energy and resources into helping young Bruneians achieve their potentials in the Arts. He has an eye for spotting talent and a knack for getting the best out of his cast and students. He firmly believes that no challenge is too hard to overcome and that if one puts their mind to it, they can achieve anything.
